The ancestral worldview in the metamorphosis of regenerative tourism

The purpose of this article is to outline the capacities of the ancestral worldview in the emerging metamorphosis of regenerative tourism. It focuses on deepening its transformative foundations, inspired by complement to the methodological design of the hermeneutic circle applied in the referential case study. It is concluded that the inevitable changes in trends generate three conditions and identities of evolutionary life; where, it arises from the anthropocentrism of the capitalist era and relocation with conventional ego-tourism for sophisticated services on invasive and massive markets of unlimited damage, causing Bad Living; matures in the sustainable era and globalization with partial responsible eco-tourism for memorable experiences and competitiveness in alternative and inclusive markets, but with poorly distributed benefits that intensify the threats of collapse, causing Living Better; and, emerges the biocentrism of the regenerative era and resilient relocation with emerging wisdom, the bio-tourism of systemic healing through transcendental experiences and deep spiritual reconciliation with the natural order, generating Good Living tourism. The latter, consistent with the ancestral visions of legitimate capacity and identity in the patterns of the cosmic order of the Pachamama, enlivening its structural capacities of potential symbiotic coopetition for adaptation and purposeful coevolution.
