About the Journal
Focus and scope
The REGENERATIO journal is a scientific dissemination tool, in digital format, open access, managed and financed by the University for International Cooperation (UCI), based in San José, Costa Rica.
This publication contributes to the generation, exchange, dissemination and application of scientific knowledge among the academic and professional community, through unpublished, relevant, high-quality, peer-reviewed articles related to research and reflections in the areas of regenerative development, complexity, emerging global trends and education, following generally accepted international publishing standards.
Among its purposes, it seeks to promote the strategic vision of the University, to become an international benchmark in promoting knowledge for regenerative development; creating innovative opportunities for education, research and cooperation for the development of societies with universal ethics.
The editorial process is managed within the scope of the University's Research Policy and generally accepted international practices. For this reason, it voluntarily adheres to the Compendium of Transparency Principles and Good Practices in Academic Publications of the Open Access Scholarly Publishing Association (OASPA, 2018) for editors, authors and referees of scientific journals in general, as well as publications derived from the Compendium of essential practices of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE, 2021).
Open Access Policy
Research articles and other content will be available following the postulates and recommendations of the Open Access Movement, under an editorial model without charges for the application, evaluation, publication or treatment of licenses (APC: article processing charges), whose inspiration is based on providing unrestricted access to the scientific literature for rapid dissemination of recent updates in various disciplines of science, technology and development.
Licensing policy
Contributions to the journal are made under the terms of the CREATIVE COMMOMS – Attribution - Non-Commercial - No Derivatives 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) license.
The use of this type of license gives a user the authorization to share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format, insofar as:
- Provide proper attribution or acknowledgment to the author(s) of the Licensed Material and any other person(s) designated to receive attribution or acknowledgment in any manner reasonably requested by Licensor.
- Provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes have been made. You may do so in any reasonable way, but not in any way that suggests that you or your use is endorsed by the licensor.
- Do not use the material for commercial purposes.
- Do not modify the original content of the material. If you remix, transform, or build on the material, you may not distribute the modified material.
